       Oxygen Art Centre presents four, 3-4 week exhibitions per year in its 850sq. ft space 
        in Nelson.

        Proposals for exhibitions are welcome in any media and subject area. Oxygen Art Centre is   
       especially interested in supporting collaborative, cross-discipline, experimental and community-
       based work. Oxygen is not a commercial gallery. 

       Submissions are reviewed once a year in early fall with planning one to two years in advance. 
       In order to be considered please submit materials via snail mail by:
 
       Next Postmark Submission Deadline: August 1, 2011
       Next review of submissions will take place in August 2011 for the 2012/2013 schedule.

   
       E X H I B I T I O N    S U B M I S S I O N    G U I D E L I N E S 


            To have your work considered for exhibition, please submit:

             -	Curriculum vitae (maximum two pages)

             -	Artist’s statement describing the proposed exhibition (maximum one page)

             -	Biographical statement (maximum 1 page)

             -	10 to 15 slides labeled with a number that corresponds to the image list, artists name and a
                      marking indicating which way is up or electronic images (jpeg format with a minimum resolution 
                      of 300dpi) of your most recent work or work intended for the proposed exhibition. 

             -	A numbered image list indicating the title, dimensions, date and medium of each work
                      presented.

             -	For new media projects please submit pc based cd-rom or dvd related to your proposal

              -	For group show proposals include the cv, bio and artist’s statement for each participating artist.
 
           Please submit all of the above mentioned text documents on a CD in Word or rtf format to:
